Hey, Jamie. Recently listened to the Chuck Billy episode, which was really inspirational. I'm in an all Native American metal band based out of Tucson, AZ, (SOLACE IN NOTHING) we've been doing it for about 5 years now touring our corner of the United States. I really think the metal community on a national scale could benefit more on a Native American presence. Do you know of any other bands that are out there touring that we could maybe link up with and get a movement started? Any advice would be a blessing upon us.
Keep up the good work with the Podcast.
Thanks Michael, there's a lot of bands looking to network online, for instance DBW from CT just did a short tour w/ Flotsam & Jetsam that they set up on their own. Network with as many bands as you can, set up local shows and trade off shows with regional and out of state bands! Thanks! Good luck! Facebook.com/deadbywednesday
Hey Jamey, love the band and was curious about a few things. I doubt you remember it because you meet so many fans, but back in 2012 during the 10 years of perseverance tour you stopped me because you liked my shirt and we ended up talking about bands from OC like Throwdown, Bleeding Through, and 18V. I was just wondering if you'd ever have guys like Dave Peters, James Hart, Brandan Schieppati, and/or Keith Barney on the show? That scene has such a rich history that should have exploded. Oh and question 2: we also talked about the possibility of 18V reforming. I kept it quiet on my end since you never know what may happen and I guess it ended up just falling apart, just wondering your thoughts on why that may have happened?Jamey Jasta responded on 08/28/2015 Next question
Hey Jamey I'm curious if you've heard about Kerry kings comments regarding mayhem fest this year and what you thought about it?
Also you've got to get parkway drive or thy art is murder on the podcast because I think there's a ton of Australian bands that deserve to be heard. Plus they've both got new albums this year and parkway drive being quite possibly the biggest influence from Aussie would be a real good interview I think.
Thanks for everything you do brother keep it up much love
