Hey Jamey, love the band and was curious about a few things. I doubt you remember it because you meet so many fans, but back in 2012 during the 10 years of perseverance tour you stopped me because you liked my shirt and we ended up talking about bands from OC like Throwdown, Bleeding Through, and 18V. I was just wondering if you'd ever have guys like Dave Peters, James Hart, Brandan Schieppati, and/or Keith Barney on the show? That scene has such a rich history that should have exploded. Oh and question 2: we also talked about the possibility of 18V reforming. I kept it quiet on my end since you never know what may happen and I guess it ended up just falling apart, just wondering your thoughts on why that may have happened?

Thanks! I have a theory on why that scene kinda faded out, I will try and get them on to discuss! thanks for listening Dakota!

Previous question

Hey Jamey, I just wanted to tell you that I really like your postcast. I'm a 35 year old vegan sxe guy from Mexico (Leaving for the past 8 years in USA) that grown up listing HxC and Punk music. Now, Married and with children is hard to go to show and listening to new bands. The few new bands that I have listened suck (Motionless in white, Attila, etc). Having said that, after listing your podcast interviewing some of their members my perception of them have change. I mean, I still don't like those band but I have found a new kind of respect for these people. I have realized that every generation is going to come up with their new style and sound, so I'm learning to be more tolerant and understanding. Do you have any plans on interviewing BTBAM? In any case, please keep educating me on the new music out there... Gracias!!

Next question

Hey, Jamie. Recently listened to the Chuck Billy episode, which was really inspirational. I'm in an all Native American metal band based out of Tucson, AZ, (SOLACE IN NOTHING) we've been doing it for about 5 years now touring our corner of the United States. I really think the metal community on a national scale could benefit more on a Native American presence. Do you know of any other bands that are out there touring that we could maybe link up with and get a movement started? Any advice would be a blessing upon us.

Keep up the good work with the Podcast.

-Michael Chico
