Hey Jamie. I'm going to the Jax show on October 25th. I purchased the meet and greet passes through your band's website. When do you usually schedule the meet and greets? Before the show starts, in between the opening acts, or after the show? Been listening to Hatebreed for close to 18 years now and I'm a huge fan of your solo album and Kingdom of Sorrow as well. I met Kirk a few months ago. He's a fucking awesome dude. All-in-all I'm looking forward to meeting you, Wayne, Frank, Chris, and Matt. This will personally be the 4th time I meet you and it's always an honor. Thanks for being such a cool, down-to-earth dude. Tale care.
Meet and greets are before the show, I think 6pm or an hour before the advertised door time. I think I answered this one on the podcast but thanks so much for your continued support. Looking forward to meeting you in Jacksonville. Much appreciated!
I'm a 'survivor' of being sexually abused twice when I was a 10 year old boy (now a 47 year old man). I have accepted what happened by understanding I did nothing wrong. Your brief statements about it in the Live Dominance DVD were uplifting. I have no malintent towards those who harmed me. But, learning both men spent time in prison, getting what they were giving, causes me no sleepless nights. Rock on, my heavy metal brother.Jamey Jasta responded on 09/18/2016 Next question
Are you familiar with Blockchain technology? It's the technology underlying Bitcoin and it allows people to be involved with large amounts of transactions person to person rather than through a large intermediary like a bank or PayPal. Imogen Heap has been using the blockchain Mycelium to deal direct with her consumers. With the trust and protection of property it offers, it seems like a way for artists to regain control of their IP and address so many of the issues you talk about on your show. Interested in your thoughts on how it could affect the music business as a whole, if you're familiar!
It was a very recent TED Talk for the crash course in the technology, could spark more than a few thoughts if you're bored and are interested: http://www.ted.com/talks/don_tapscott_how_the_blockchain_is_changing_money_and_business
